DIY Decorated Graduation Cap

For this you need:
1. Cap
2. Rhinestones
3. Self Adhesive Letters && Numbers
4. Sequin Embroidered Bow
5. Super Glue

The Rhinestones I used came in rows of 5
and were self adhesive. They were in the scrapbooking
aisle of Hobby Lobby (All supplies were purchased there!)
and they cost $2.99 per pack (2 are needed for the hat).
To do this literally all you have to do is peel && stick!

The stones look like they took SO much more time than they actually did!
This whole process takes about 5 minutes to complete.
Each side takes 2 strips and about 5 to 6 more stones.
Just measure the amount needed and pull the adhesive back with
the stones to keep them together.

After this step is complete, arrange the letters the
way you want them to look! I arrange them first
so that I can keep the shape && design will sticking them on.
You don't have to, but it helps to see the finished look
before sticking because once they are stuck they can not be removed.

You don't have to use adhesive letters- you could also use paint or
glitter pens to do whatever design you'd like!

After finishing the design, I'm now super glueing this embroidered
bow to the center of the hat.

I'm also glueing the lower ribbon of the bow
to the hat for added security.
Make sure you move the tassle out from under the bow
so it's not glued in place! (You want to be able to switch your tassel
after graduating!)

Here's the finished look!

I did this look for my graduation last year-
my roommate from all of college is graduating this year
so I wanted to surprise her with this one.

I did this with my friend the night before we graduated
college last year- it was such a fun last thing
for us to do together before the end!

Even if you've already graduated, you could still do this
to keep as a decoration. I had my hat sitting out next to
my diploma for months!

Another fun thing to do would be coordinate the colors to
match your school- get creative with it && make it your own!

Rose Gold Nail Polishes

Original first glasses image found on google images. Edited to fit this post by me.
All images were created entirely by me unless noted.

Items Pictured
1. Anise, "It Takes a Tan", DSW
2. Orly, "Rage", Ulta (Mine was a gift from youtuber Hollysaysheyy, thank you Holly!)
3. Revlon, "Copper Penny", Ulta
4. Nicole, "It Starts with Me", Target

Here are the results from my rose gold nail polish hunt!
None are as true a metal chrome as I desired
(think Brian Atwood rose gold pump shine and clarity)
They all have shimmer to them, which is
pretty, but not the straight sheen I hoped for.
(Hey Sally Hansen, where's your version? Feel free to jump
in this contest any time you're ready)

These polishes still do what I thought they would-
match rose gold jewelry, look like an extension of such on your fingers
and of course- look great with a tan :)

My favorite is the Anise polish- which is the
cheapest out of the bunch! My sister found it at DSW.
(Yes... you have to go to a shoe warehouse to find
the best nail polishes. What, you didn't know that?!)

The Orly polish was the most suggested one-
it's a gorgeous color, but it's more silver-y on than true rose.
The Revlon is the furthest from rose, but definitely a great bronze
for summer.

The Nicole is very similar to the Anise polish,
just slightly sheerer. If you can't find the Anise
at your DSW, Nicole's version would work just as well!

Any other strong rose gold polish contenders I should know of?
Be sure to tell me if you have one!

I'm dying over these heels.
There's something so glamorous, yet fun about them.
Red pumps always make a statement with any outfit-
but the lipstick heel just screams "look at me, ..I'm fabulous"
Here's the link if you feel like stalking them further
(They also come in black if the red is too bold for your taste)

Sadly I won't be owning these seeing as the price tag
is as high as the heel...
but a girl can dream.

the look out by pairing it with black nails and some serious hardware..

1. Sleep All Day sleep shirt- Victoria's Secret PINK

Today was the laziest sunday ever.
Oversized slouch shirts like this are one of my favorite
things to sleep in (and roll out of bed and throw leggings with).
This was one of my favorite looks for 8am classes- oversized shirts,
leggings, some form of boot and large sunglasses.

I woke up extremely early for a sunday (6am) and promised myself that I would
spend the entire day in bed. Not a far stretch, since I stayed in the same position
until 2:30pm. I only broke my promise to myself because
my mom && sister showed up with presents and offered to take me to Cheesecake factory.
(The way to my heart= sequins && candy).

Yesterday was an awful day (hence the reason for my seclusion).
I got in a friendship-ending discussion with someone who's
been my best friend since I was fourteen years old.
My mind knows I was right, but my body woke me up
extremely early feeling guilty as if I had done something wrong.

I've known our friendship was over for awhile, but that
didn't make the conversation any less painful.
Saying goodbye isn't the hard part- it's accepting
that a person you care so much about is capable of consistently hurting you.

1. Sequin Layer Hem Dress: Urban Outfitters, $20 on sale
2. Lace Vest: PinkIce.com, gifted (same vest available at TJ Maxx)
3. Nude python pelt: Forever21
4. Rose bracelet: TJ Maxx
5. Daisy Watch Necklace: Marc by Marc Jacobs
6. Charcoal polish: Chanel, 'Steel'

I wore this outfit the other day when it was finally nice outside
I can't film outfit videos every day, but I want to show you them as often as I can!

I'm actually wearing this dress backwards- shh don't tell!
The lower cut is actually for the back- but the higher rise worn
in the front of the dress looks awkward and seems
more 'flapper costume' than bohemian. I flipped the dress
around && voila! I like it tons more.
Plus the higher back allows me to wear a
strapless bra- the low rise back wouldn't!

This vest is one of my all time favorite pieces. It looks cute worn slightly
off the shoulder to create a completely different dress- or worn as
is to add a bohemian vibe to any look. I found the same lace vest in black also
at TJ Maxx for under $20! The entire outfit costs under
$100 (except the necklace- I got this drop charm back when
Marc Jacob's 'Daisy' perfume was released)

The belt came attached to a different dress at F21-
one of my fashion tips is to take the belts from their dresses
and pair them with different looks. I usually hate how
they put them together- but the belt itself can look great
on a ton of different outfits you already have!

For shoes I wore a pair of rose enzo angiolini sandals
other metals such as gold or bronze would look great!
